Interactive Camera Wizard

Produced: 2011

YouTube requested a video to be produced that would help improve the quality of video production on YouTube with YouTube Partner Corey Vidal.

While working with Corey, I came up with an idea to create an interactive series that could allow the viewer to interact with the functions of a camera while watching on YouTube. This could simulate the components of the camera and help understand the concept of each function.

Going through the process of writing an educational production that was interactive and fun was challenging. It was through actual examples of the camera functions that we realized how to draw the audience in.

Within 5 weeks we had Approximately 400,000 hits spread across 31 videos in total. Key learnings indicated viewers watched the entire series.
