New Job at the Independent Filmmaker Project!

I’ve been hired at the Independent Filmmaker Project as a Digital Programming Coordinator in Brooklyn! It’s exciting times in the independent film world and I’m excited to be working with such a fantastic organization.
The IFP (Independent Filmmaker Project) is a non-profit organization based in Brooklyn, New York whose mandate is to help nurture and support independent films and filmmakers through a diverse slate of programs throughout the year. We run Labs in early spring, hold screenplay competitions and foster indie film relationships globally to help boost the profile of the community.
I’ll be working on a variety of initiatives including our reRun theater initiative where we’ll be programming, exhibiting and promoting independent films each week in the heart of Brooklyn, the IFP Media Center in conjunction with the City of NY and our digital initiatives including our YouTube channel releasing original videos on managing a filmmaking career.

I’m really looking forward to charting a career in film and feel really lucky to be given this opportunity.
